On Hilbert Golab-Schinzel type functional equation

Let $X$ be a vector space over a field $K$ of real or complex numbers. We will prove the superstability of the following Go{l}c{a}b-Schinzel type equation$$f(x+g(x)y)=f(x)f(y), x,yin X,$$where $f,g:Xrightarrow K$ are unknown functions (satisfying some assumptions). Then we generalize the superstability result for this equation with values in the field of complex numbers to the case of an arbitr...

Superstability and Stability of the Pexiderized Multiplicative Functional Equation

We obtain the superstability of the Pexiderized multiplicative functional equation fxy gxhy and investigate the stability of this equation in the following form: 1/1 ψx, y ≤ fxy/gxhy ≤ 1 ψx, y.

abstract. let x be a vector space over a field k of real or complex numbers.we will prove the superstability of the following golab-schinzel type equationf(x + g(x)y) = f(x)f(y); x; y 2 x;where f; g are unknown functions (satisfying some assumptions). then we generalize the superstability result for this equation with values in the field of complex numbers to the case of an arbitrary hilbert spac...

On the stability of the Pexiderized cubic functional equation in multi-normed spaces

In this paper, we investigate the Hyers-Ulam stability of the orthogonally  cubic equation and  Pexiderized cubic equation [f(kx+y)+f(kx-y)=g(x+y)+g(x-y)+frac{2}{k}g(kx)-2g(x),]in multi-normed spaces by the direct method and the fixed point method. Moreover, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the  $2$-variables cubic  equation [ f(2x+y,2z+t)+f(2x-y,2z-t) =2...

Remarks on a functional equation∗

A functional equation involving pairs of means is considered. It is shown that there are only constant solutions if continuous differentiability is assumed, and there may be non-constant everywhere differentiable solutions. Various other situations are considered, where less smoothness is assumed on the unknown function.
